In 2005 the team conceptualized and created the sounds for the Zoom SB-246 Streetboxx™, the company’s biggest selling rhythm machine to date.

Not content with simply “making history”, the Beat Kangz are poised to write the next chapter in musical innovation as the manufacturers and distributors of their own line of musical electronics products.

“Our company is made up of individuals who know what it’s like to struggle in this highly competitive, cut throat music business,” says BKE president, Aja Emanuel. “We are that 16 year-old on the block with a hot mixtape. Legendary Music Producer Joins Beat Kangz Electronics

BKE Vice President Bob Ezrin first attained fame in the 1970s, producing classic albums for Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, and Kiss. Perhaps the most well-known work Bob produced is Pink Floyd's The Wall. He is noted as an innovator and technical groundbreaker, having been one of the earliest adopters of multi-machine recording, computer sequencing, sampling, and editing. In 1993, he co-founded a computer software company called 7th Level which developed and published educational and entertainment CD-ROMs including a highly popular and groundbreaking series of Monty Python games. In 1999, he co-founded Enigma Digital, an internet radio provider. Enigma was eventually sold to Clear Channel, where he became vice-chairman of Clear Channel Interactive. Ezrin also co-produced the documentary film Fade to Black, starring Jay-Z, which was released in November 2004.

Human Beatbox Chesney Snow Lends Talents to Beat Thang

One of NYC's Illest Beatboxers, we're proud to have multi-talented artist Chesney Snow as part of the Beat Kangz krew!!! Chesney has shared the stage with the likes of Nora Jones, Gloria Gaynor, Sister Sledge, The Village People, Hot Chocolate and more. His project "Beatbox Family" (MTV/Smuggler/BBE) recieved a CLIO Award in 2006. His human beat box samples will be featured in the Beat Thang--a groundbreaking beat machine sampler from the Beat Kangz which will drop October 2009 (Pre-sale discounts are available NOW in our store!).
